Adin Ross is an American social media star who’s made a name for himself over the past year for his gaming videos. Ross’ popularity soared in early 2020 due to his friendship with Lebron’s son Bronny. The pair bet thousands of dollars on 2K games, earning Adin viral popularity. The idea for non-video game content came to Ross after he started hosting ‘e-dates’ on his channel.

An early 2021 stream with Twitch streamer Corinna Kopf earned him more followers. After forming a close bond with rapper Sheck Wes, more rappers started appearing on his streams, including Lil Yachty, Lil Tjay, and Iann Dior. So far, Adin has 3.3 million followers on Twitch and over 1 million subscribers on his YouTube channels.

Adin Ross is not gay.

Much of Adin’s content revolves around making guests uncomfortable by insinuating that he is gay. In a stream with producer DJ Durel, Ross rapped:

“I’m gonna put this white stuff all over Rel’s face. Yeah, he’s going to like that shit. Yeah Rel, you like that dick? When it touches your lip? When it goes in your dick? Poppin’ on a beat. Poppin’ on a beat. I’m about to suck his meat.”

You would expect that Adin would receive backlash for such comments, but so far, he is yet to receive widespread criticism. Rapper Polo G, however, told him that he is going too far with it. In Mid-April 2021, Adin wrote “Polo G is so fine bro’ on Instagram. “Aye fo stop playin u goin too far w dat shit now,” Polo G replied.

Adin saw the reply as means to get more attention. He responded by discussing it on TikTok, recording an ‘apology freestyle’, calling Polo G’s brother, and making multiple videos about it. Twitch temporarily banned Adin’s account after ZIAS made a homophobic slur during a stream, but Ross’ account was swiftly reinstated.

Adin Ross is dating fellow content creator Pamibaby.

Pamibaby has an impressive 1.7 million followers on Instagram. Despite having only one video on her YouTube channel posted nearly a month ago, Pamibaby has amassed 158K subscribers on her self-titled YouTube channel.

Pamibaby occasionally appears on Adin Ross’ streams and social media pages. On 15th April 2021, Adin posted a pair of Instagram photos of the couple alongside the following caption: “Sprung @pamibaby.”

A big part of Adin Ross’ popularity has come from pretending to be gay in front of guests and uploading the videos of him acting ‘sus’ (suspect) around them.

Detroit rapper Tee Grizzley was the first rapper to collaborate with Adin. Tee is also a Twitch streamer, so it was easy for the pair to connect. Adin also connected with Lil Yatchy through Twitch. The pair connected after Adin jumped into the chat during one of Yatchy’s streams.

Adin has formed a close connection with rappers at Cactus Jack records, especially with rapper Sheck Wes. Ross told Adam22 of No Jumper that he’s not signed with Cactus Jack, but he’d be open to signing with the label if it diversified to gaming. He said:

“I’m very associated with Cactus Jack, so I work with a lot of guys down there. I don’t want to say too much, but if they were to do something with gaming, if they were to sign a client with gaming, I would definitely sign with them.”

According to Adin, rappers benefit as much as he does from their collaborations. He told Adam22 that rappers use his platform to promote themselves:

“I eat of it, but they do, too. If a rapper that’s not on like they used to be, and they come onto my shit – which is hot right now – right before they drop a single or projects, it’s perfect promotion.”
