Brendan Fraser’s girlfriend now: All about Jeanne Moore
Ernesto Ruscio/Getty Images Brendan Fraser’s renaissance – aptly titled the Brennaissance – received perhaps its most significant boost yet when the audience at the Venice film festival applauded Fraser for six minutes for his starring performance in The Whale. Fraser struggled to hold back tears as he soaked in the crowd’s adulation.
In The Whale, Fraser plays Charlie, a morbidly obese English teacher on the brink of death looking to reconnect with his daughter. Expect to see more of Fraser in the upcoming months as he’ll star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon and Peter Dinklage in Brothers.

John Phillips/Getty Images Fraser’s star showing in Venice was made all the more special because he brought his girlfriend, Jeanne Moore, to the occasion.
Jeanne looked stunning in a flowing black dress as she arrived at the festival alongside Fraser. The pair held hands on the red carpet as photographers snapped away.
We know little about Jeanne as this is her first public appearance alongside Brendan. Fraser is notoriously secretive about his personal life, so we do not expect to learn about the details of their relationship.
However, with Brendan’s resurgence on full steam, we hope that he opens up more to his adoring fans.
Fraser shares three children with his ex-wife Afton Smith
Brendan Fraser met Afton Smith in 1993 at a party hosted by Winona Ryder. The couple married in 1998 and later welcomed three children: Griffin, Holden, and Leland.
The couple announced their divorce in December 2007 through Fraser’s publicist. “They continue to maintain a close and caring friendship,” Brendan’s representative said.
In 2013, Fraser’s relationship with Afton hit the headlines as he petitioned a court to reduce his annual $900,000 child and spousal support payment. Brendan claimed his earnings had decreased to a point where he couldn’t afford the payments.
Afton protested, accusing Fraser of hiding $9 million in film contracts during divorce proceedings. Fraser said he was poised to make nothing from acting in the coming years as he had no definitive movie deals. The actor also said his health problems had limited his earning capabilities.
It’s unclear how Afton and Brendan settled the issue, but given neither party returned to court, we assume they reached an amicable solution.
Since Brendan’s divorce from Afton, it’s the first time he’s been linked to a romantic partner. Things seem to be going well for Brendan in all sectors of his life.
