What is Dave Wilson doing now? He is yet to launch a new project

Dave Wilson rose to fame alongside his ex-wife, Kortney, as hosts of HGTV’s popular show Masters of Flip. The couple started their house flipping venture to earn extra money, and it grew to become their ticket to reality-show fame. Many feared that the pair’s collaboration would end after their divorce in 2019.

Masters of Flip ended, but the pair continued their collaboration with Making It Home with Kortney and Dave. After one season, however, Kenny Brian replaced Dave, rebranding the show to Making It Home with Kortney and Kenny.

Fans want to know what their favorite Dave Wilson is up to now.

HGTV delivered on its promise to retain Dave and Kortney. “Kortney and Dave will continue to appear on HGTV Canada,” a statement by HGTV read. The pair made Making It Home with Kortney and Dave, which proved to be a hit.

As of January 2021, Kortney and Dave were set to partner in season 2 of the hit show. HGTV sent out a casting call for home owners in Nashville and Toronto who would like to have their homes featured in season 2 of the series.

However, somewhere between that casting call and filming, Kenny Brian replaced Dave Wilson. HGTV made no statement about the replacement, and neither did Dave and Kortney.

As far as we can tell, Dave and Kortney remain on good terms. Therefore, we don’t believe that a fall out between Kortney and Dave forced Dave to leave the show.

Dave has adopted a secretive life after his withdrawal from reality television. He’s taken a ‘vacation’ from social media and is yet to launch a new project.

It’s unclear whether Dave Wilson has parted ways with HGTV Canada. We will keep you updated with any news.
