All about Elle Smith’s parents and her boyfriend
Six months after competing in her first beauty pageant, Elle Smith won the Miss USA crown. She qualified for the Miss USA pageant by winning the Miss Kentucky crown. The desire to participate in beauty pageants sparked in high school, but Elle opted to wait until she had a ‘big girl job’ to pursue her dream.
“I remember watching [Miss USA]… so many incredible women grace the stage, and thinking, ‘I want to be on that stage. I want to be like them.’ I made that dream reality,” Smith captioned a mid-November Instagram post.

So far, Elle Smith has kept her personal life secret. The little we know is that she is the daughter of a high school teacher named Lydia Smith. Smith’s father is a photographer who inspired her love for art. Smith said:
“I would consider myself a creative, having grown up surrounded by all forms of the arts. My father is a photographer, so I love all things photography, videography, and modeling (hello, future career).
Smith’s parents raised her in Springfield, Ohio, where she attended Shawnee High School. After graduation, she joined the University of Kentucky and majored in broadcast journalism.
Elle’s black ethnicity shone through at the University of Kentucky as she served as the vice president of the school’s National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). After attending NABJ’s virtual conference in 2020, she thanked the association for helping her land a job.

Elle has a boyfriend, but she has kept his identity secret
Elle Smith has a boyfriend whose identity she’s kept secret.
He occasionally appears on her Instagram page, but we don’t know his name. “Look how the world is searching but I found mine,” Elle captioned an October 2020 post featuring the couple.
Smith’s boyfriend has set his Instagram account to private (@lslvnlvsh), making it rather difficult to learn more about him.
