Who is SZA dating now? Here’s what we know

SZA (real name: Solana Imani Rowe) has wowed with her ability to weave the joys and pains of love in her music without giving away anything about her love life. Fans have tried to pick apart her music in search of clues, but as SZA suggested, they have found precious little.
“I never really talked about relationships in a direct way,” SZA said (per Elite Daily). “I used to be very metaphorical, very figurative, and also just kind of scared to talk about the way I felt in a literal way.”
Nevertheless, we do have some information about who SZA might be dating.
SZA is rumored to be dating fellow singer Kehlani

SZA and Kehlani have sent fans into a frenzy after being spotted holding hands in public two times in a few months: In April 2021, they left a restaurant in LA holding hands, and in September 2021, they arrived at Rihanna’s Met Gala after-party hand in hand.
It’s normal for friends to hold hands, but fans want to believe there’s some romance between the soul and R&B queens.
Kehlani came out as lesbian via a TikTok video posted in April 2021. “It’s true, I am gay gay gay!!!” Kehlani said. “I finally realized I’m a lesbian.”
Kehlani had long identified as queer and bisexual and now identifies as a lesbian.
SZA is yet to comment publicly about her sexuality, but she did hint at dating women in the past via her hit song Love Galore. “Love on my ladies, luh-love to my ladies/ Dated a few,” SZA sings.
Even the few fans that have conceded that SZA and Kehlani are friends secretly hope that the pair are dating.
SZA confirmed that she wasn’t underage when she dated Drake in 2009

SZA is secretive about her relationships, but that doesn’t apply to her partners, especially not to Drake, who is famous for baring his soul through music.
In his verse on 21 Savage’s Mr. Right Now, Drake sings: “Yeah, said she wanna fuck to some SZA, wait / ’Cause I used to date SZA back in ’08.”
The lyrics raised eyebrows as SZA turned 18 in November 2008. SZA clarified via Twitter that the pair actually dated in 2009 and that Drake probably used ’08 to fit the song’s rhyme scheme. She tweeted:
“So it was actually 2009 lol. In this case a year of poetic rap license mattered. Lol I think he just innocently rhymed 08 w wait. Anybody who really knows me and was around during this time can confirm. It’s all love all peace.”
Via a follow-up tweet, SZA added: “I just didn’t want anybody thinking anything underage or creepy was happening. Completely innocent. Lifetimes ago.”
